The makers of Kismat Konnection planned not to have a premiere in Mumbai for their film. Well, that's alright. But where should they have started the film with? And after much considerations the film was premiered in Dubai and Delhi finally.

You must remember the K factor attached to the name of the film. Do they have the same name-game problem with the places where the film should be released at the first time! Ooooof! Then it has to be a D factor now.

But things don't look like that as sources reveal that UTV, which holds the worldwide distribution rights for the film have very good relations with both their hot stars Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor.

If UTV would premiere the film in Mumbai, they would have had to invite both Kareena and Saif for the film. They did not want to hurt the sentiments of both their stars and played it safe by premiering the film in Dubai and Delhi finally.

UTV had purchased worldwide distribution rights of the film for around 30 crores.

Exhibition chain Cinemax India, which currently operates 19 multiplexes in various parts of India, has forayed into film distribution with Kismat Konnection.

Cinemax will distribute Kismat Konnection in the Bombay territory. Well, whatever happens at the business front of the film, we are relieved that the premiere were not at least konnected with any superstitions.
